Tohoku University student Trishit Banerjee says his favorite part about school is working for the student news. Banerjee is from Mumbai, India and has been studying at Tohoku for two years. He majors in chemistry and plans to pursue his master’s degree in biochemistry research. He’s a member of the foreign student club and organized Tohoku students to assist us during our visit. Banerjee is the chief editor of the online publication, The Sentinel. He says working on the student news brings people together on his campus to talk about important issues.
